When you think about compassion, are you including yourself? Every time I repeat this mantra to myself during my meditation, I remind myself that I am a being. All beings. It’s important. The mirror picture is to remind us to look at ourselves with compassion as well. 

Waking up this morning, I smile.

Twenty-four brand-new hours are before me.

I vow to live fully each moment and to look at all beings with eyes of compassion.

It is almost impossible to say the word, “smile,” without actually smiling. And it is difficult (although also not impossible) to smile without feeling better. Smiling is a great start to the day as part of this #mondaymeditationminute!

Breathing in, I calm my body. 
Breathing out, I smile. 
Dwelling in the present moment,
I know this is a wonderful moment.
